I probably shouldn’t tell this one on Kevin, but with
Kyle around, the story comes to mind from time to time.
When Kevin was three or four he sometimes had trouble
remembering to raise the toilet seat. One day I was in a real hurry
and didn’t check out the seat before I sat on it. As you might expect,
Kevin had recently been in there and had forgot to raise the seat before
he used it – also his aim had been particularly bad. I got real irritated
and hollered at him to come in and see what he’d done. He came in,
looked at the seat, and assumed a pose of righteous indignation.
“Why do I always get blamed for everything? It could have been Mom,
you know.”
Kyle is actually pretty good – at least his aim is better.
