Sandi and Pete's Garden

I was struck again with the beauty of Sandi and Pete's garden. Pete told me that it was late in the season and it was past its prime. You couldn't tell by me - what do you think?

 

Also, they have a fruitful apple tree. On the morning we left, we filled up a shopping bag with crisp, tart apples and we're still enjoying a couple every day.

 

On my way through Hamilton this summer, Pete harvested a few stalks of rhubarb and made a great sauce - we poured it over some ice cream. Man ..... that was good.
