Monterey is one of our favorite places and we try to spend a few days there every year.
Some years prior, Linda stumbled onto the website of a Best Western motel that is located right on the beach and offers some great off-season rates. We have enjoyed many stays at this motel.
Somehow, our trips to Monterey seem to frequently happen right around our anniversary - this year it was our 21st. We don't plan it that way .... it just seems to work out that way.
